Designing the Future – The Circular Design, Building and Construction Summit 2023

What, how, when, why and where do we want to develop, plan, build and operate in the future? And which products, materials, processes and qualities should be used?

These are the overarching questions of the DESIGNING THE FUTURE initiative initiated by Drees & Sommer, which will culminate in the Circular Design, Building and Construction Summit in Berlin on October 25 and 26, 2023, in cooperation with numerous partner companies.

The dialogue initiative DESIGNING THE FUTURE aims at a new cooperation of construction and real estate entrepreneurs, developers, urban designers, designers, architects, engineers and product manufacturers to address and solve the problems and challenges in the development, planning and construction of buildings, neighborhoods, cities and sites. 

In doing so, approaches to solutions for sustainable building and real estate developments will be discussed from the interdisciplinary dialogue on design, process, material, building, construction and design. Recommendations for tomorrow's building will be formulated from the creation processes, circularity and various construction methods.
